Acquisition of a US patent for pipe rust prevention, NMR pipe protector popular in the UK.

Introducing examples of the rust prevention effect of the "NMR Pipe Protector" in pipes in the UK!

The red rust prevention device for piping, "NMR Pipe Protector," has obtained patents and registrations in the United States and major countries around the world after undergoing rigorous patent examinations abroad regarding its practicality and other factors. On February 16, 2004, the first installation in the UK was at Addenbrooke's Hospital, affiliated with the University of Cambridge. The NMR Pipe Protector holds a patent in the UK and established its reliability through presentations at conferences related to "corrosion," leading to its installation upon recommendation from the University of Cambridge. The hot water pipes at Addenbrooke's Hospital experienced leaks due to bacterial corrosion and red rust deterioration just three years after the piping was updated. However, after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, red rust in the hot water piping made of galvanized steel was prevented in just 11 days. The iron ion concentration due to red rust in the hot water decreased from 1.07 mg/L before installation to 0.188 mg/L after 11 days, falling below the water quality standard of 0.2 mg/L. The transformation of red rust in the hot water pipes to black rust with a volume reduction to one-tenth confirmed the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector. Extending the life of apartment water supply pipes is achieved by converting red rust to black rust.

The piping internal red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" reduces red rust in the water supply pipes of apartments to insoluble and passive black rust, extending the lifespan of the building.

In addition to pipe rehabilitation, there is the "NMR method," which uses our internal rust prevention device, the "NMR Pipe Protector," to reduce red rust to insoluble and passive black rust. Vinyl-lined steel pipes are commonly used for condominium water supply (distribution) piping, where the straight sections do not deteriorate from red rust, but only the joints do. By converting this red rust to black rust, pipe replacement becomes unnecessary, reducing costs to 1/5 to 1/10. The NMR Pipe Protector utilizes free electrons in the water to convert internal red rust to black rust. Since the NMR Pipe Protector is installed on the outside of the pipes, it does not come into direct contact with the water inside, making it hygienic and safe. Through on-site surveys conducted by our technical workers, we can implement our product at suitable installation locations, enabling appropriate pipe rehabilitation throughout the entire piping system. The NMR method has obtained a patent as a groundbreaking pipe rehabilitation technique and has been recognized through research papers presented at the "Asia-Pacific Corrosion Society" and the "Japan Society of Corrosion Engineering." It has been highly evaluated for its water quality safety and has been adopted in many renowned hospital facilities around the world. The NMR Pipe Protector comes with a rust prevention effect guarantee, allowing for worry-free implementation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF or contact us.*

[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] Hospital #E

The amount of red rust in the air conditioning hot water piping has significantly decreased! Completely preventing the progression of red rust and proving the rust prevention effect.

At Hospital E, which was built 30 years ago, there were concerns about leaks due to the progression of red rust deterioration in the air conditioning hot water piping that uses galvanized steel pipes (SGP). Therefore, a red rust prevention device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before installation, a sample of the circulating air conditioning hot water was taken, revealing that the total iron content in the water due to red rust was 360 mg/l, indicating significant corrosion within the piping. Two weeks after the installation of the product, a sample of the air conditioning hot water showed that the total iron content in the water had significantly decreased to 0.4 mg/l. [Introduction Overview] ■ Hospital Location: Ebetsu City, Hokkaido ■ Hospital Overview: 30 years old, 4 stories, 200 beds (entire building) ■ Installation Date: November 2017 ■ Installed Piping/Number of Installations - Main building heat exchanger secondary side hot water supply pipe (SGP pipe 100mm)/PT-100DS×1 unit - <Water Supply System> PT-100DS×2 units *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] Water Supply Pipe in Binh Phuc Province, Vietnam

The red rust inside the cast iron water supply pipe has turned into black rust! It has been proven that the leaching of red rust into the water has been completely prevented.

In the Huong Canh area of the Water Supply Bureau in Binh Phuc Province, Vietnam, cast iron pipes (150A) have been in use for 15 years, leading to the progression of red rust corrosion inside the pipes, which resulted in the regular occurrence of red water. To address this red water issue, a red rust prevention device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed at the base of the cast iron water supply pipes (150A). Before installation, the water color and the amount of red rust at the sampling points located 500m north, 300m west, and 600m south of the installation site were as follows: the northern point had a light brown color with 7.0 mg/l of red rust, the western point had a brown color with 8.0 mg/l, and the southern point had a dark brown color with 23 mg/l. Two weeks after installation, the northern point showed a lighter color and a reduction in red rust to 4.6 mg/l. The western point nearly lost its color, decreasing to 2.0 mg/l. The southern point changed to a light brown color with a reduction to 12 mg/l. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
